HOME GROUPS Home groups will be meeting during the following weeks - weeks beginning July 13th and 27th. Our Home Group studies usually relate to the previous Sunday morning's sermon / theme. Home Groups at Aldwick Free are a means by which folk connected to the church can meet regularly and informally in homes with others. Home groups seek to provide for those who attend..… * a local Christian group with leadership that has been recognised, trained and supported by the Church. We plan to have termly Home group Leaders meetings to facilitate training and support. * practical and relevant Bible teaching and study which will help individuals make sense of the Bible and who Jesus is *a place in which one can discover God’s love, acceptance and forgiveness * an environment to explore answers to people’s deepest questions * a place to pause, think and pray * an opportunity to make new friends * pastoral care and support * a welcoming place to bring people who would not normally go to a Sunday church service * an environment in which the gifts of the members can begin to be recognised (leadership of the Home Group could be shared for instance) * a place to be at ease and have fun together!
